Christmas Songs and Drama 2021

Once again this Christmas, Lusmagh's reputation for exceptional drama and song was shown in St. Cronan's NS. Each classroom put together a lovely play for our community to enjoy online. We also had some super singing to add to the festive atmosphere. We hope you enjoy watching!

Christmas Art 2021

This year we all felt we needed to ramp up the Christmas spirit for people passing our school, so as well as painting our usual Christmas window art, we also painted some old tyres to brighten up the school yard. Everyone helped to paint them and we are delighted with the results.

 Happy Christmas everyone.

Panto Live and a visit from Santa!

On December 16th 2021, we had a very exciting day in St. Cronan's NS. First of all, each classroom watched  a live, interactive pantomime called "Santa Live". With lots of "Boo", "It's behind you!" and " Oh no, it's not!", every one had a great morning. We enjoyed popcorn, drinks and treats during the show. Some of the senior and middle room pupils also made gingerbread men and Christmas cookies for everyone in the school.

After that busy morning, the excitement went up a notch with a visit from the man himself! Santa took time out from his busy schedule to call to the school with a selection box for every child. Thank you Santa and have a very happy Christmas from us all in Lusmagh NS.

Junior Room Science

The pupils in the junior room investigated chemical reactions in class and had  great fun!

Little bags of Kindness

In November, a past pupil of St. Cronan's NS, Corrinne Claffey approached us with her project for  homeless people in Dublin. Every pupil brought in some personal care items which Corrinne  packed into care  packages. She delivered these "Little Bags of Kindness" to some of the homeless people she helps on a regular basis. We were delighted to be involved in this project and many pupils included special homemade Christmas cards with their donations to make this Christmas extra special for those who receive them.

Christmas Shoebox Appeal 2021

Our pupils showed their kindness to others again this Christmas with their beautifully assembled Christmas shoe boxes which will all go to Children around the world who are not as lucky as we are.

Hallowe'en 2021

We celebrated Hallowe'en once again this year with a zombie walk. Costumes were as scary as ever! Well done everyone!
